Founded in 2000, Heritage Pavilion Stage is the brainchild of Peterborough playwright and theatre producer Ed Schroeter, who received the Peterborough Historical Society's J. Hampden Burnham Heritage Award in 2002 for the development of the Heritage Pavilion Stage group and the Samuel Armour Heritage Award in 2004 for his work as a writer and producer of historical theatre productions. In July 2004 he was inducted into The Peterborough Pathway of Fame.
Heritage Pavilion Stage is a member of Theatre Ontario and the Peterborough Arts Umbrella.
